I've got this 20i Cinema Display and when viewing sites on this resolution they all have a lot of space not being used. Would it not be cool to change the layout of your site to whatever the size of your Screen or browser is so we can benefit of this lost space?

Event dispatching with jQuery (javascript / PHP)

Gabor and I have been busy lately with a new cms called Siteconnect. We are developing the new version from scratch and it will be opensource. This cms is build on technoligies like json, xml, ajax. The gui is pure javascript and get's its data via a json-gateway. We encountered a lot of memoryleaks so we tried to create a different kind of event handling (here are the most leaks as I know).

Finally, I finished a nice webapp. Sorry for all you foreigners, but this webapp is for dutch people only. You still can have a look though. The site is a Google Maps mesh-up with traffic jams. Next to that it has a SMS and E-mail service you can sign-up for. It is developed with PHP5, Javascript, MySQL 5. Some of the techniques I used are OOP, design patterns, SOAP and Stored Procedures.

Well I've found a nice script at Jeremiah Grossman's Blog This script steals your history… Nice isn't it. Now You can see what people are visiting! Well it ain't that easy and you just cannot read out the history, but there is a way. Let's have look at this.

The nofollow attribute (javascript)

If you have ever heard about rel="nofollow" attribute in your links so search engines will not follow certain links and you are using it a lot, then you should read the following article "Nofollow is a leaky condom" that discusses this attribute. In this article you will find an alternative to this attribute, but it is not unobtrusive (the javascript code is still between your HTML) and I don't like that.
